About
I grow plants in all their diversity as a way to experience them: learning about them, enjoying their varying characteristics, seeing how they complement each other.
It is a small property but a lot of plants, from groundcovers to trees, giving the garden an exuberant feel. My goal is that each plant fits its space while also playing a role in a larger composition with neighboring plants. They are planted (and often transplanted) in mixed communities, not as a collection.
It is the diversity of the plants and their arrangement that visitors most enjoy and that led to this Digging Deeper seminar. I have been gardening in this space for fifty years.
