Designed by Madison Rice, RLA, ASLA, as a welcoming retreat for family and friends, the garden features a lively central pool terrace positioned between the main house and guest cottages. This heart of the landscape supports outdoor dining, water play, sunbathing, and easy gathering,with a full-size pool, pool house, lawn panel, outdoor kitchen and dining, and a warm fire feature.
More private moments are thoughtfully tucked throughout the property, including a secluded spa set within lush subtropical planting and refined terraces at each guest cottage. The overall composition is slightly contemporary, expressed through clean lines and simple forms using natural materials such as limestone and ipe.
A restrained, modern plant palette is strengthened by bold hedging and softened with gentle ground-cover masses for year-round texture and calm.
