Digging Deeper: Exploring Florida Native Habitats
Delray Beach, FL
About
Digging Deeper visitors will enjoy meandering garden paths around our one-acre, Florida-native habitats, in the center of Delray Beach’s downtown.
The tour will be hosted by Florida native garden experts and will include discussions on ethnobotany, planting pollinators, sustainability, habitat restoration, and endangered and invasive species.
In addition, our three historic cottages and exhibits will be open. Guests will learn about early pioneer environmental resources and how Delray Beach transitioned from an agricultural town to a booming tourism destination.
This Garden Host reports the following Terrain Notes about the garden: This program is open to all. The pathways are Chicago brick. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. The campus is ADA compliant.
