Denver Dry Garden

Denver, CO

The Garden Conservancy Preservation Partner Garden

About

Denver Dry Garden is a xeric pollinator

garden inspired by two iconic plantsmen, David Salman, the late chief horticulturist of High Country Gardens, and Kelly Grummons of Cold Hardy Cactus.

The yard of my century-old bungalow was once turf grass, the electric lawn mower has been given away, and the garden has transformed. It is now a thriving pollinator habitat buzzing with life. It includes both native drought-tolerant plants and climate adapted steppe region plants. It features a crevice garden that was built by my

dear friend, author and garden designer, Kenton Seth.

I welcome your visit! A plant list will be provided.
