About
The gridlike streets of suburban Kenilworth dictated the rectangular parameters of our predominately green and white backyard garden, designed for entertaining.
Showcased between a perimeter stone wall and a lower retaining wall are hydrangea beds. A bluestone walk links a wood pergola to the formal terrace. Tucked into the north side is a woodland garden under stands of white pine, while a perennial garden flourishes to the south. Nineteen twenties art deco ironwork gracing the front and back doors is echoed in an ironwork “scrim” under the pergola.
