About

The historic Pasadena estate garden from the 1900s was transformed into a showcase property by well known Pasadena garden designer Steven Carmona. His inspiration came from the owner, an artist, who loves nature and petit French Gardens. The boxwood hedges, gravel pathways, and olive tree motor court with latticed star jasmine walls and lavender were modeled after the owner’s passion for Versailles. The focal point of the garden design is based around the bronze Pan from the 1894 Paris World’s Fair which was an heirloom statue passed down to the owner from her mother and grandmother.

This Garden Host reports the following Terrain Notes about the garden: Visitors must traverse a gravel driveway. Inside the back garden there are steps and pebble pathways.
