Meadow’s Edge
Oakland, CA
About
Welcome to Meadow's Edge, a hidden gem boasting a unique redwood understory habitat. Descend the stadium-style stairway toward an in-ground firepit set by a stunning dry-stacked stone retaining wall. Discover a secluded lounge area within the redwood understory, creating a tranquil retreat. The landscaping showcases diverse habitats, including the redwood understory, songbird habitat loaded with native shrubs and trees where birds can find food and shelter, and a butterfly habitat meadow resembling a native California hillside. This garden fosters a thriving community of birds and beneficial wildlife. In May, vibrant blooms from a variety of California native plants add a touch of color to this enchanting oasis.
