About
Color, texture, density in abundance. I’ve been gardening for 10+ years, having benefitted from Longwood PG grads and other creative pros in our community.
Started with trees I adored (parottia, maples named for operas, bald cypress, etc), then woody shrubs and perennials (also opera or classical literature themes). Spring brings at least 1,000 new bulbs to bloom each year, followed by at least 50 containers for added color and texture. It’s not a disciplined garden, but it makes me smile every day, and changes every year.

This Garden Host reports the following Terrain Notes about the garden: There are stone paths and stone steps that are variable in height. We have handrails for steps, but please use caution.
