About

Visiting LOUIELAND is like living inside a Fellini film...directed by your mother, produced by your grandmother, and financed by your godfather.

Located at one of the highest points on almost 200 acres...with spectacular vistas of Connecticut and New York, Louieland Gardens were built by Louie and his 235 Italian relatives from Waterbury, CT...from a 400 car parking lot.

All the handwrought iron, the stone walls, landscape and ornament were made without any plans or construction background. The property was built by "La famiglia" in the Neopolitan tradition of the Tarrentella Novella...and a love for food, family, and a bowl of pasta fa'zul.

The house was destroyed 3 times: by Earth, Wind and Fire.

To Louie and his family, "every ending was a new beginning to another ending."

Be careful what you wish for!

C e` solamente amore.
