Visit the house and garden of architects and contemporary art collectors Chris Stone and David Fox, designed by acclaimed Landscape Designer and biologist, Bridghe McCracken of Helia Land Design and Helia Native Nursery in Alford, MA. Learn about their collaborative effort to create a true native landscape adjacent to a wetland in the northwest corner of Connecticut which Bridghe turned into an asset as opposed to a design constraint. Bridghe McCracken, a Berkshire Highlands plant specialist, with over 25 years of experience, brings immense knowledge of plants and how they contribute to an ecosystem. Learn how she uses her knowledge and an palette of rare and endangered plants to create an abundant garden that is full of wildlife and simultaneously beautiful for humans.
