About

A large ‘Summer Snowflake’ viburnum will welcome you along a garden winding around the entire property, starting with lavender, English roses, phlox, nepeta and Benary zinnias, leading into a main sunny garden with a grand assortment of flowers. Everywhere you look you will find something to delight you—a secret garden room, two small ponds surrounded by ornamental grasses, roses, iris and Alchemilla mollis, where frogs come back every year and enjoy their special spot. There are shady areas with multiple varieties of hosta, ferns, Epimedium, Browallia and primroses, winding around to more shade perennials and many varieties of hydrangea and more perennials. The garden, started by me in 1996, is ever evolving, and is a true labor of love, abounding with butterflies, birds, and beneficial insects. My garden is cultivated with love and concern for its inhabitants.

This garden’s estimated size is 1/3 acre.
