In this program we will examine the history of the Ashland Japanese Garden, from the original design under John McLaren, to the recent redesign by renowned Japanese Garden designer, Toru Tanaka. We will then take time to experience the garden, examining the historical plantings and new plantings, as well as discussing the plans for the future of the space.
