Sunday, June 22 Open Day at Riverhill—Joe & Tamara DiMattio

Riverhill is a 5-acre hillside sloping down to a rocky beach on the Hudson River. Views of the Hudson are a defining feature, as is the park-like landscape sculpted into terraces and gentle slopes. The gardens include an alpine scree, terraced perennial gardens, and an outcrop rockery, as well as extensive collections of potted succulents and alpine troughs. Also of interest is a growing collection of homegrown ceramic sculpture and a koi canal with aquatic planting. Not to be missed are eagle spotting and watching the river flow.
