Saturday, May 17th Open Day at High Plains Oasis
Gardening has been a journey of discovery for me. I love finding new plants and collecting seed or getting cuttings to bring more variety to my garden. I view my garden as a museum of plants that all tell a story of where I got them. I want to feature local wildflowers that are made to thrive in this region but get little recognition in landscapes. In my opinion, the more natural and wild looking, the better. I love cacti and think their flowers are some of the most beautiful. I've enjoyed collecting a variety of these and enjoy placing them around boulders to create unique vignettes and microclimates. My garden will never be done. I hope to keep adding variety to learn from and enjoy into the future.
This garden's estimated size is 2,500 sq. ft.
