The High Line’s New Gardens

The High Line’s New Gardens

The opening of the first section of the High Line in New York City in 2009 launched the international career of its horticultural designer Piet Oudolf and accelerated the transformation of American gardening sensibilities. Although major work on the iconic elevated park finished last year with the completion of the final section near Penn Station, the High Line continues to evolve in new and exciting ways.

Join Richard Hayden, Senior Director of Horticulture at the High Line, for this half-day program about the development of this unique place and its two newest gardens, both designed by Oudolf and opening this season. The program begins with a welcome reception at the High Line’s offices in the Meatpacking District, followed by a private tour of the park and lunch at Ci Siamo.
