Chicagoland Private Garden Open to the Public, August 3

Chicago, IL – A private garden in Dupage County will open for public visitation as part of the Garden Conservancy Open Days™ program. Visits to this garden will take place Saturday, August 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Gardens at Ball in West Chicago, Illinois. This is a once-a-year opportunity to visit the historic Ball Horticulture Garden not generally open to the public. Guests will enjoy the opportunity to visit The Gardens at Ball, usually reserved for the wholesale customers of the 118-year-old Ball Horticultural Company, a world leader in the breeding, production, distribution, and marketing of horticultural products. With more than 15 acres of gardens, including sun, shade plantings of annuals, perennials, and containers with more than 500 varieties. Also featured are a growing collection of home garden vegetables. Guides will be available throughout the day to give garden tours and answer questions.

Registration is $10 per person, or $5 for members of the Garden Conservancy. Children 12 and under are free when accompanied by a parent or guardian. All registrations must be processed online through The Garden Conservancy's website. Visit gardenconservancy.org/open-days
