Webb House Colonial Revival Garden at the Webb-Deane-Stevens Museum
Wethersfield, CT
In 1921, the Connecticut Dames installed a “Colonial Revival” garden under the direction of landscape architect Amy Cogswell. The garden features a collection of "old-fashioned" perennials and annuals arranged in Colonial-Revival style borders framing garden rooms. Featured flowers in this summer-fall garden include eleven varieties of roses and traditional plants such as phlox, foxgloves, pinks, and hollyhocks. Member of the Connecticut Historic Garden consortium.
