Pacifica Collector's Garden
Pacifica, CA
Dry/xeriscape, Open Days, Rare plants/plant collection
Matt and Annie moved to Pacifica six years ago in order to create a garden for their ever expanding agave, aloe, and succulent collection. In their 5,000 sq. foot lot they've built raised beds with recycled urbanite between winding decomposed granite pathways, and planted a huge variety of drought-tolerant, xeric, rare, and unusual plants like cussonias, dendroseris, and seed-grown Aloe polyphylla. Their sustainable, low-water landscape design business, Xeric Oasis, is run from their home, and as a result the gardens feature an ever-changing cast of new plants and interesting cultivars.
This gardens estimated size is 5,000 sq. feet.
