Old Village Tropical Haven

We inherited a garden of beautiful estate size camellias that anchor our home to the Lowcountry. The evolution of our garden reflects our wanderlust to tropical places, particularly St. Barthelemy and Sicily. Elegant queen palms, palmetto palms, Windmill palms, Chinese Fan palms, Banana palms and the stately Washingtonia Palm provide tropical warmth. Citrus of Meyers lemon, Persian lime, blood orange, and Valencia orange add to the tropical flavor. Plantings of agapanthus, plumbago, ligularia, and African Iris continue the theme. Curating herbs and orchids in the recently added greenhouse and relaxing in the contemplative area elevates our tropical haven to the next level.
