Culver’s Garden
Florence, MA
Fruit/vegetables, Rare plants/plant collection, Woodland/shade garden
Together, we spent 70 years working the gardens and grounds of Smith College, which nurtures an old botanical garden. Our garden includes trees and shrubs started from seeds obtained through a global Index Seminum trade. Those plants are now 25 years old. We have raised beds, perennial borders, a shade garden area, and spring ephemerals. Fruits, vegetables, herbs, roses, clematis, hellebores, peonies, lilies, and a chicken coop, too.
This garden's estimated size is ¼ acre.
