Members-Only Tour at White Flower Farm
White Flower Farm
Sat, Jun 17, 2017
8:30 AM-10:30 AM
Join Garden Conservancy staff and Barbara Pierson, White Flower Farm’s Nursery Manager, for a light breakfast and tour of the native plant garden, the newest display garden at White Flower Farm. We’ll be some of the first visitors to explore this newly planted garden and learn about the benefits of using native plants for the entire garden ecosystem. By including native plants in your landscape, you can supply local wildlife, such as butterflies, with the food and habitat they need for survival. Native plants are also well adapted to local conditions and will often thrive with less care than a non-native plant. If you have questions about using native plants at home, don’t miss the valuable Q&A session after the tour.
