Thriving in Challenging Times: Maintaining Garden Excellence and Generating Strong Public Support

Please join us and share in the dynamic ideas and stimulating interactions of this Garden Conservancy professional conference. We encourage each Preservation Project garden, as well as those receiving other preservation assistance from the Garden Conservancy, to participate and be represented by a staff person and a member of your Board or Friends group.

Preservation Weekend presents practical information to help us all survive and flourish in the current economic environment. Working sessions focus on:
• Maintaining highest standards in horticulture, design, and garden management
• Attracting, inspiring, and maintaining audience
• Insuring an excellent visitor experience
• Exploring the role of the garden in its community

Behind-the-scenes garden tours and very special dinner events will be hosted by our co-sponsor, Mt. Cuba Center, and our partners at Longwood Gardens and Chanticleer.

There is no registration fee for participants, and lunches and dinners are included during the conference; however each participant is responsible for the costs of hotel and travel. Some travel scholarships will be available for those who might otherwise be unable to attend.

To register and for additional information, please contact the Projects department at 845.265.9396 or projects@gardenconservancy.org.
